Alison Krauss! Everytime!!
Are we supposed to vote on our favorite?

yup...and/or add commentary/feedback

I started this a few weeks ago and every monday, I offer a new cover song. Its just for fun! :)

I think I like the Keahiwai version best. I'm partial to female vocals, and the Allison Kraus version is just a little twangy for my taste. Wow, that techno version is bizarre. It still sounds like country, but with a techno beat. Very strange.
I am an Alison Krauss/Union Station fan, but I have to say that Ronan Keating's 1999 version sounds the best to me. I have the Notting Hill soundtrack & always wondered where I had heard that song before. The techno version scares me a bit ~

Alison Krauss, hands down. Though I really like the original version, too. Alison Krauss has the voice of an angel

I liked the music for the Keahiwai version, but I wasn't surprised I found the vocals somewhat lacking. I even kind of liked the techno version, because with this song I really do think they take far too long to say nothing at all. I keep wanting to get behind the singer and give them a little push to get on with it. I adore Alison Krauss's voice, though. I think in the end I like Ronan Keating (with or without Paulina Rubio) - his slight grittiness keeps it just interesting enough for me.

I love the Alison Krauss version but I'm at work so I can't listen to the ones I've never heard. The Keith Whitley version is really good but there's just something about Alison Krauss's voice that gets to me. You should hear her sing Baby Mine from the Dumbo soundtrack. You will be a puddle of tears.
